AirBaltic to launch non-stop flights to Kaunas
AirBaltic launched direct flight from Riga to Kaunas starting from 4th of June 2009.
Flight duration is only 45 minutes.
Kaunas is the second largest city in Lithuania, and a former temporary capital. Kaunas is located at the confluence of the two largest Lithuanian rivers, the Nemunas and the Neris, and near the Kaunas Reservoir, the largest body of water entirely in Lithuania. Kaunas is the third AirBaltic destination in Lithuania.
Flights from Riga to Kaunas are operated twice a day.
